Hello,
When I start the process with the xml / ini from telecablesat.fr
from the second channel, I have this:
[Critical] Generic syntax exception:
[Critical] message:
[Error ] no index page data received from xxxxxxxxxx.xx
[Error ] unable to update channel, try again later
[ Info ] Existing guide data restored!
And this, whatever the order or the channel.
Hello,
I have the same problem.
I think TeleCableSat blocks after downloading one or two channels.
I get :
Unable to update channel Eurosport 2
Generic syntax exception:
message:
no index page data received from Eurosport 2
unable to update channel, try again later
When opening the page of a channel (example https://tv-programme.telecablesat.fr/chaine/192/tf1.html) with the "Lynx" browser, I get "error 403".
It might be necessary to add a delay between each download, to simulate human navigation.
Regards.
site blocks too many request, you can try adding timeout but will slow down everything.
Or can I modify or add the timeout?
ini or xml file or other?
Thank you.
from the developer manual..
retry= is added to the site {xxx} line so u should be fine as its not encrypted.
settings in the site {xxx} are separated by a |.should be cleary explained looking at whats there already.
the difference between adding it to the ini and ur wg config.xml is when added to ini the delay is only used for that ini, when added to ur webgrab config.xml the delay is added to all ini(which u dont want as it will slow down grabbing for all ini used).
if you want a explanation of what each delay/setting is click on the documentation tab at the top of the forums and looks for the wg config.xml
But with a large timeout it don't work too...
your probably already blocked?
i just downloaded the ini and used the default retry from the documentation and grabbed 4 channels without issue.
the retry setting i just added to a new site {xxx} line.you can have more than one of these.
How can I test if I’m blocked or not ?
in terminal ping the website
