am i right in understanding that this has to be change for using in the uk
site {url=tv.com|timezone=UTC|maxdays=10|cultureinfo=en-US|charset=UTF-8|titlematchfactor=90|nopageoverlaps}
site {loadcookie=tv.com.98101cl.cookies.txt}
urldate.format {datestring|yyyy-MM-dd}
the timezone has to be change to UTC+1
Hi wibbly74,
I have this working correctyly with:
timezone=US/Pacific
Enjoy!
;)
Thanks for that, so changing the ini file to that will make it display correctly as it is currently about 5 hours behind
The 98101 ini is set for Seattle which is in the Pacific Time zone,. 7-8 hours behind us depending on daylight savings ;)
sorry to thread hi-jack, just wondering as you're talking about tv.com have you found good channel/index delays to prevent it skipping some channels due to time out error? I can't seem to get passed this, I even have a max of two tv.com channels together and not all right after each other and still having the problem. Just trying to see if this can be resolved somehow before I migrate all my channels to another provider
sorry i think you mis-understood me. I wasn't using the provided tv.com ini I already know what you explained and regarding the cookie file but thank you for taking your time to explain!
My question was slightly off-topic which is why I noted that, basically using tv.com it'll randomly error out if I re-run the grab it will get the data so I'm pretty sure it's a time out issue.. which is why I asked if anyone figured out good values to prevent this

I've only ever got a max of two tv.com channels after one another because this would happen more commonly, but even with 2 tv.com channels after each other it will randomly do this and I have to re-run it to get the data so it seems it has something to do with the delay settings in the .ini I just can't figure out good values I've tried high ones and it'll still randomly happen
site {loadcookie=tv.com.cookies.txt|retry=<retry channel-delay="8" index-delay="3" time-out="5">4</retry>}
this is what I have it on right now, I've tried even higher ones and also leaving index-delay to 1 and only changing channel-delay and still this randomly happens. The higher I go the less often it happens but it will still happen at least once per my big run and like I said I don't have tv.com channels one after another either. Just a max of two, not sure if I should just switch providers to zapit and take it on the chin of having to update all my channel links
this is not working do you have a update to grab the channels from
