Sure, compress the guide.xml as .gz or evenbetter with .xz then edit the file /etc/epgimport/epg.sources.xml to specify your path to the file. You also need to make a channel file (channel reference to xmlltv id).
There is also a great program called e-channelizer that can automatically do it for you.
Thank you sooo much , for helping . But I have tested it with E-Channelizer (have premium ), added a source on the nas , e-channelizer accpt it , but when the epgimport plugin tries to import it , there is an error ..no such file or directory ( it is a public folder on the nas - no restrictions). All other http source (rytec...) are working . Any other idea ?Tried als ondrive + googledrive..nothing works .Seems that epg import only accepts http sorces ?

you need to add you path to the epg sources, give it a name, add the source http://192.168... (your path to file) and then match the channel you want with your epg. Very easy.
Try with compression .gz and xz 7zip compress both format, and add multiple http to you files. If you have problem you can ask Sayiid he is a very good guy, i am sure he will give you better indications.
Thanks , but i tried it with simple TV there it works (from a local share) , but i could not make a share to a lokal nas with http , so its not working on VU+ with epgimport .
And its not working from a share link (google drive/amazon/onedrive) , i don't know how to realise a http link to a local share ? Should i build aweb server ? Any other ideas ?
do http://192.168.1.10/folder/guide.xml where the 192.168... is the ip of your NAS
Everything i try did not work .After searching for solutions in the web ,
found out that I had to install myphph and wordpress on my NAS .
Now its finally working ! Yeah :)
The next step is how to autamate the whole process...
webgrabplus --> grabbing epg --> make a *.xz ---> copy via SSH to the NAS.

Good although sounds a bit strange, usually a nas has a public folder where you can access the files.
