No matter what it just keeps timing out..? anyone else having issues?
Yes me, same issue. did you resolve it?
try this user agent https://github.com/SilentButeo2/webgrabplus-siteinipack/blob/master/site...
Hi there
I'm getting these errors even though I am using the Userkey:
[ Info ] found: C:\Users\copet\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus\foxtel.com.au.EK.ini -- Revision 09
[ Info ] encrypted with userkey and expiry date
[Warning ] Unable to decrypt!!
[Error ] fatal decryption error: Padding is invalid and cannot be removed.
Looking in the config file it has this entry for the userkey with waht looks like an expiry date of April * $$encrypted w/userkey/expiry [17/04/2020]$
Am I reading this correct?
Padding invalid means encryption has changed, due to a copy/paste or change in the file.So download file and copy the entire file not the contenent.
Hi mat8861
I've tried downloading a fresh version of the foxtel.com.au.EK.ini file a few times but I keep getting this "padding" error:
[ Debug ] Loading timezone data
[ Debug ] Embedded timezones source: timezone.timezonesdata.txt
[ Debug ] Reading config file: C:\Users\copet\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus\WebGrab++.config.xml
[ Debug ]
[ Info ] found: C:\Users\copet\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus\foxtel.com.au.EK.ini -- Revision 09
[ Info ] encrypted with userkey and expiry date
[Warning ] Unable to decrypt!!
[Error ] fatal decryption error: Padding is invalid and cannot be removed.
Not sure what to try next?
you need to add the foxtel key to config, an example here https://github.com/SilentButeo2/webgrabplus-siteinipack/blob/master/site...
and in documentation http://www.webgrabplus.com/documentation/configuration/webgrabconfigxml#...
Hi mat8861
I have the Foxtel key from the donations area of the forum and i am using it with the "decryptkey" tag in the config. The expiry date in the .ini file is showing as 17/04/2020 - that wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it?
Also, I didn't have the "license" tag in the config, so tried adding it but then got different errors:
[ Debug ] Reading config file: C:\Users\copet\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus\WebGrab++.config.xml

Hi, it looks like updating the user agent has resolved my issue. thanks so much.
Make sure you use wg 3.1.0 and you have license in config.
Thanks mat8861, that seems to have resolved the problem!
Hi,
I've tried everything I can think of and still cant get this to work:
[ ] WebGrab+Plus/w MDB & REX Postprocess -- version V3.1.0.0
[ Info ] found: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus\siteini.pack\Australia\foxtel.com.au.EK.ini -- Revision 09

Correct EK version, correct WG+ version, the new user agent:
"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/79.0.3945.130 Safari/537.36 Edg/79.0.309.71"
the correct decrypt key which hasnt changed.
and my licence seems to report ok:
[ Info ] New copy of 'custom license' data downloaded
[ ]
[ Info ] License request/update
[ Info ] Username 'divxmaster'
[ Info ] Custom License status : 'True'
[ Info ] The program will run with performance settings : 'custom'
[ Info ] License check .. done
[ ]
[ ] Actual settings of the custom license :
[ ]
[ ] License started on :2020/05/09
[ ] License will expire on :2021/03/23
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Mike
Siteini from siteini.pack ? It's ok here.....
Ah, found it
For anyone else who is having this issue, the siteid of the channel tags has changed, maybe some time ago.
If you were still using the old format, you will need to update all channels in webgrab++.config.xml to the new format.
old:
site_id="12352_SHO" xmltv_id="VIC-Melbourne Foxtel Movies Premiere"
new:
site_id="12352_SHO##SHO/SHO" xmltv_id="VIC-Melbourne Foxtel Movies Premiere"
edit: note they dont all follow this exact pattern so check the channels file in the latest siteini pack.
Cheers,
Mike

welcome efran or mona.i sure its one of u.
i dont see this channel on their site anymore when i select vic-melbourne or vic-regional
same issue here, getting timeout
NickMusic is not in the channel list....make sure you create a new list and set retry-timeout to 80
FYI, i have issues running Foxtel on my VPS, however, I can run on my personal server. I tried to read up on things and found some tricks people used (changing DNS to Google's) and never got it to work on my VPS. Tried all of this about a month or two ago, mentioning just in case any users having timeout issues are in the same boat as i am.
Still timeout. Can someone fix it?

error downloading page: The operation has timed out. (80sec)

i have my config time-out="180" with 4 retry, both windows and linux (ubuntu on pi4) and works all ok.
mat8861
do you use a proxy or live in Australia or New Zealand?
Nope simple connection from my home provider in Italy , i tested also from a german vps, ( i shouldn't say but is digitalocean) with same results, same os ubuntu 18.04 lts....latest mono, lower cpu/ram/connection. Now there are users that go even faster and with no problems at all, some other (many with ovh) that report slow process. WG++ really depends on connection not cpu/performance. For sure i had to use vpn only with Israel and few in Latin America, one in UAE,one in USA (Pluto) not many though, i would say 4-5 in total. As far as my knowledge there are countries restriction Europe,South America, Emirates and viceversa depending where you starting connection is located.
Then I don't know what I'm doing wrong. On vps in France, Australia, Russia, USA, everywhere timeout
Same here, still cant get it to work. Had it working fine a few months ago. Am using the latest 3.1.1, still get:

This is still the correct useragent?

this is what I have in my config, same as you, I'm in Australia and it works just fine

On VPS in Germany, it finally worked. Miracle!
Glad you made it, but brings a lot of questions...
1. Provider ? (it sounds ovh gives some problems or better few user reported problems like siteini return no index)
2. run as root or user ?
3. WG++ version ?
4. Did you install first Lamp or apache/ngix or other webservers before running wg++ and obviously mono ?
5. As far as your knowledge what was the difference with not-working server ?
Be good to know for other users :)
Australia (Vultr), Worldstream.nl, RU/UA VPS, Online.net (FR), OVH (us) - timeout
Luxembourg, Germany (Vultr) - work
2. root user
3. wg last version
4. no
5. The only difference is in the providers and the country. Foxtel may be blocking some providers. In particular, I have their site opened only through a VPN.
Weird....home server with ubuntu, (connection fastwebnet italy) no vpn.
Servers in germany (digitalocean and contabo) same ubuntu version no vpn.
I mentioned a few posts above my Ubuntu VPS times out but Foxtel runs with no issues on my Mint server. Just like Brkc, my OVH is in the US.
