Dear Jan, dear All
I'm currently struggling to implement multi-episodes format for xmltv_ns - I can't find anywhere a definition.
So maybe one of you guys could help me out by simply answering the questions:
- What would be the equivalent xmltv_ns format for "Season 1, Epsode 5;6" (means: Episodes 5 & 6 are broadcasted together)
- What would be the equivalent xmltv_ns format for "Season 1, Epsode 5-7" (means: Episodes 5 to 7 (5, 6 and 7) are broadcasted together)
- What would be the equivalent xmltv_ns format for "Season 1, Epsode 5-7;9" (means: Episodes 5 to 7 (5, 6 and 7) and 9 are broadcasted together)
If you could simply drop the ".." format for each of the cases, it would help.
Thanks & Greetz - Chris
Chris,
Well, the XMLT DTD does not state any implementation of this specific situation.
But if I look at the DTD, i see in the programme define, a "episode-num*".
This means that a program can haven multiple entries of the episode-num.
So maybe you could try and put each episode in its own episode-num.
I don't know if WG++ supports multiple elements for episode. Will try it in a moment.
But the other question is, does your EPG viewer support this? That you can check, by manually edit a show and see how the viewer reacts.
I don't know what you mean by:
WG++ does not currently support multiple episodes.
I you try, you get:
Maybe we should adjust that and let the output be:
