Hi @ all,
I renew my Donation this morning and update the complete wg++
Also update the siteini.pack
Also I was told to install dotnet-runtime-7.0 during start the run.sh, I did ...
But I still get Stuck with the 50 channels Problem.
Also I'm not able to get channels from "horizon.tv"
My guess is, 2 problems ... one reason. But I'm not sure!
Any hints?

turbo

Hi,
I think, I was to hectically!
I did that already, yesterday.
But today it worked yust fine!
That's the Point I always try to find a solution first
In the logfile I found the folloeing:
[ Info ] Program update available !! - Version 3.3.0 @
http://webgrabplus.com/download/sw/v3.3.0
What is to do?
But the problem with horizon is still actually.
As far as I see one channel was done.
I'll double check the config .yml again and see if I'm able to do something here.
If not, I'll come back again! ;)
Thank you for helping!

V3.x is no longer being updated as it used net framework which is end of life.
dotnet replaced net framework.
see post #4 here to update to V5.x
http://webgrabplus.com/content/upgrading-new-version
regarding horizon.tv
i dont recommend using it.
at one time it had epg for many european countries.
now not so much.i dont even see germany listed anymore.
the providers that once used it how gone with their own epg setup.
i think magenta.tv replaced it.
you should also change the default time-out in your webgrab config.
its on the retry line.
delault is 5,i recommend 30.
Ok, so you think,
1. Upgrade to 5.1.4.2
2. change the horizon to magenta.tv
That is the way to successes?
I just checked the "horizon.tv.channels.xml (Version 5.0.1.1 from the 18 Jan 24)" and all I need is still in there.
But anyhow, if it dosn't work, I'll try magenta
I'll report what happens!
tks, again!

horizon.tv hasnt been updated in a few years.
the siteini.pack sync's from github.
if you look here it will tell you the last time its been updated.
https://github.com/SilentButeo2/webgrabplus-siteinipack/tree/master/site...
as i said pretty much all providers that used horizon.tv have went with their own epg system.
its pretty much dead now.
Now I get all the problem channels from web.magentatv.de and they almost all working fine. Juwelo is missing, but I don't think the world will stop turning around therefore.
Is there still a script to update the siteini.pack, I can't find it?
And one more:
What You thing out of your experience?
Is the way I did is now a good way or do you think, it's better to swap completely over to magentatv?
Big tks for your Support!

turbo
V3.x its in the bin folder
V5.x its in the bin.net folder
Juwelo looks to be a shopping channel.
they do have epg on their site but its pretty basic after all its just a shopping channel.
look in the misc folder of the siteini.pack
you can use the dummy.ini or fixed.ini to create a fixed epg with whatever title u want like "Shopping Channel"
for dummy.ini open the file and it explains how to use it.
for fixed.ini read the fixed_howto.txt file.
you can mix channels from different ini's
webgrab doesnt care, it does does its thing one channel at a time.
