Hello again, after a lot of time!
One of my sites (ishow.gr) is having a lot of detail pages missing, in fact getting "500 Internal Server" errors. This causes WebGrab++ to stop and retry grabbing (unnecessarily) 4 times, and delaying the whole process and also adding a "(?)" after the show titles. So, this causes these shows to be flagged as changed in the next run, thus resulting in these delays happening in every single run of the process!!! Is there any workaround?
I run the 1.54.2 version of the software (I don't know if the behavior has changed in the newest versions - but I didn't see anything similar in the changelogs and I am afraid a little to change it).
Hi Ankont,
nice to hear from you. Must be tough now adays in Greece!
I tried ishow.gr for <channel update="i" site="ishow.gr" site_id="cid=1" xmltv_id="mega">MEGA</channel> and didn't get your problems. See the guide.xml.
I used beta 55.26 maybe that makes the difference.
Any particular channels with this problem?
Else upload your config ..

Hello! We are in the same situation for so many years we are starting to get used to it… :-P At least (for me personally) I still have my job. ;-)
About the 500 error, it is definitely a site problem, since I can reproduce it with the browser. See for example this: (http://www.ishow.gr/episode.asp?guid=578ACB71-4FE0-4963-9748-3E3C8F246723) This show detail page is from channel Bloomberg right now (local time is 15:30 - check also the channel page here: http://www.ishow.gr/ShowTodayChannelProgramm.asp?cid=53). I think MEGA usually has no problems. :-)
But, is it standard procedure the question mark (?) in the end of the title, when you cannot find the show title from the detail page? It is only happening on these shows with 500 error pages. I'll try the newest beta version to see if it's OK… However, the delay is unavoided. For now, I have made the change in the config file to wait only a second and repeat four times, which kind of speeds things up.
