Hi all,
I just noticed in the log file that there are a lot of overlapping shows when using directv.
the error is as follows:
[ Debug ] removed 2 overlapping shows in WCBS (New York) CBS HD East (CBSeHD) starting after 14/11/15 01:00:00
It appears 100 times, each with a different date/time stamp. It happens for the following channels: CDS, NBC, ABC, Tennis Channel all the time and sometimes for HBO, HBO signature.
I don't know if it is a site problem or the ini file.
I also don't understand the message mentioned. Does it remove the 2 shows or keeps 1 of them? and based on what?
Appreciate any ideas.
Thanks.
using directv ini with mono (ver 4.04) and most recent beta and with most recent patch i get repeated programs and at some point in the data the times go off by 24 hours. tihs is intermittent in the data file and different on each channel but the data file and the ini cannot be used
Hi all,
Directv is still giving a lot of "[ Debug ] removed 2 overlapping shows in XYZ starting after hh:mm:ss" in the log file. (7/10 channels, 130 occurences)
Anybody came up with an idea why is this happening or a solution? Don't know what it actually "removes" or "keeps".
Any ideas ?
Thanks.
Hi,
when WG++ reads the xmltv inputfile (from a previous run), it removes all shows that has irregularities like overlaps or timeerrors. That leaves gabs in the xmltv. The inceremental mode finds these gabs and fills them with new shows from the tvguide site that occur in the timeframe of the gab, This is a way to try to repair these errors. So nothing to worry about.
But, if these overlaps occur again and again, there must be something wrong.
I checked the site index page structure and found that it lists all the HD shows first and after that all the SD shown of the same day. Hence the duplicates. I have removed all the SD shows that also occur as HD show in rev 8 of the siteini http://www.webgrabplus.com/sites/default/files/download/ini/info/SiteIni.Pack/Networks/directv.com.ini
That should solve it.
Jan
Hi Jan,
Thanks for your reply and changes to the ini file.
I made a test on 1 of the channels that always had this issue, 2 runs-incremental-5 minutes apart, and the previous issue disappeared.
Thanks again.
