DirecTV "no shows in index page"

Cheers all....Merry christams and Happy New Year....

There has been an issue with DirecTV...all channels give "no shows in index page".

Can anybody help out on this problem guys ?

Thanks in advance.

I'm experiencing some issues with this provider, I'm always getting time out errors and the data does not get generated for any of the channels. I would like to use this one because it has tons of channels. As an alternative I'm using tv.com now.

Thanks.

I have the same issue.  I wish it would work.  I used to get data for some channels and then not others as well.  Now nothing.

Adjusted siteini released. Seems to work again here.

Hi Francis and thanks for your help.

Hoping you had a nice Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Year !

Tried the new ini file with several channels (only 1 channel at a time), and it kept on giving the 500 internal server error for 30 minutes and I had to stop it.

I think that the initial issue was the old regex expression not working with some changes they made to the site.

I think that the new changes still have some issues in the regex as it is the same error I was getting when trying to adjust the regex myself before your new siteini file.

Line 35 has "no match found" in the log file, I guess this might the reason or maybe one of the reasons.

I am not as capable as you of course but this is what I get and wanted to let you know. Maybe you can help us out as you always do ?

Again, thnaks a lot.

Hi again Francis,In addition to the above, I think there is a problem with line 31...it gets just 1 match of the first "show" and then keeps on giving the 500 internal server error.I am not sure but thought to let you know.

(the first line is sometimes not a show and has some different data than the rest of the lines, i saw that when using line 25 directly in a web browser)

Could one of you give me your setup (config file, cookie file, logfile, siteini)

Will see what the problem is. As it works here fine for the default channels.

Have you recreated the .channels.xml file? Maybe some channels have changed id's.

Hi Francis,

Here is my setup files (the ini file is the one you adjusted with no changes from my side). BTW, the channels IDs didn't change. I can confirm from the website itself using line 25 from the ini file directly in the web browser and it works.

The log file doesn't have any meaningful info, unless you want me to add a "debug" at certain lines in the ini file and run it again so you can check. Do you need me to do this and at which lines of the ini file ? I had to stop the webgrab run because it kept on giving the 500 internal server error and pausing/retrying forever.

Add a valid user-agent in your config file.

eg.

<user-agent>Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0</user-agent>

Then it works fine here.

Thanks a lot Francis...it worked...as usual you always save the day !

Will this addition of "user-agent" affect other sites in my config file ?

Thanks again mate :)

There are only a few site that actualy need a correct user-agent.

And most of the time, using the above will do. So Normaly this will not affect other sites in your config.

Sorry about the previous post..  I forgot about the User Agent.  I added that to my config file and it seems to work now.  THANKS!!

Hi Francis,

Happy New Year !

The new ini is working fine except the duplicates of HD and SD shows are back again. They are not removed like the previous ini.

It's obvious that the site changes made the previous regex not work now on removing the duplicates.

Would you help on this please ? I tried but couldn't find a solution on my own.

Thanks.
