Good evening!
I hope I'm posting this in the right place - apologies if I'm not.
I'm usng WebGrab+Plus Version 1.1.1, on a Windows 10 machine.
I'm using NextPVR, and I'm having trouble getting the EPG file to update. I had previously tried another tool to download my local schedule, but I ran into some issues: The same shows were populating on every channel, even when that was not accurate (see screenshot in my .zip file).
I assumed this was an issue with Zap2It, the EPG file downloader I was using before. As such, I started using WebGrabPlus (which seems to be superior anyway). However, now that I've started using WG++, I'm unable to update my EPG file, no matter what I try.
I took a look at the EPG file, and it appears to have vastly more information than just the one channel in it, so I suspect that is also part of my issue, or perhaps another issue entirely... Any ideas on that would also be welcome!
I've attached a .zip file with my UpdateEPG.bat file, in addition to all the other recommended files.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm assuming it's a PEBKAC issue, but I'm out of ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
FWS
Have you mapped the NextPVR channels ... the channels from the tuner ... to the XML file channels. The mapping is needed when the channel names in NextPVR are not a good match to the channel names in the XML file ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Configuration.Channels#toc6
Hi Graham!
Thanks so much for pointing that out. I had not yet mapped each channel to the correct channel name, so thank you.
I then updated the EPG, and that seems to have worked!
Whoopeee! Thank you so much.
